1. A Bíblia é inspirada por Deus

·      Hebreus 1: 1-2: “Há muito tempo, Deus falou muitas vezes e de muitas maneiras aos nossos pais por meio dos profetas, mas nestes últimos dias falou-nos por meio do Filho.”

2. As palavras da Escritura são as palavras de Deus

·      Êxodo 24:4: “E Moisés escreveu todas as palavras do Senhor.”

·      Jeremias 1:9: “Então o Senhor estendeu a mão e tocou-me na boca. E o Senhor me disse: ‘Eis que ponho as minhas palavras na tua boca.’”

·      Mateus 4:4: “Mas ele respondeu: ‘Está escrito: Nem só de pão viverá o homem, mas de toda palavra que sai da boca de Deus.’”

3. A Bíblia é verdadeira e confiável

·      Salmo 119:160: “A soma da tua palavra é a verdade, e cada um dos teus justos juízos permanece para sempre.”

·      Provérbios 30:5: “Toda palavra de Deus é verdadeira; ele é um escudo para aqueles que nele se refugiam.”

·      João 17:17: “Santifica-os na verdade; a tua palavra é a verdade.”

4. As palavras de Deus são eternas e imutáveis

·      Isaías 40:8: “A erva seca, e a flor cai, mas a palavra do nosso Deus permanece para sempre.”

1. The Bible is Inspired by God

·      2 Timothy 3: 16-17: “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”

·      2 Peter 1: 20-21: “Knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone’s own interpretation. For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.”

·      Hebrews 1: 1-2: “Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son.”

2. The Words of Scripture are God’s Words

·      Exodus 24: 4: “And Moses wrote down all the words of the Lord.”

·      Jeremiah 1: 9: “Then the Lord put out His hand and touched my mouth. And the Lord said to me, ‘Behold, I have put my words in your mouth.’”
