1. A Santidade de Deus

·      Êxodo 15:11: “Quem é como tu, Senhor, entre os deuses? Quem é como tu, majestoso em santidade, terrível em feitos gloriosos, operando maravilhas?”

·      Levítico 11:44: “Porque eu sou o Senhor, vosso Deus. Portanto, santificai-vos e sede santos, porque eu sou santo.”

·      Isaías 6:3: “E clamavam uns aos outros, dizendo: Santo, santo, santo é o Senhor dos Exércitos; toda a terra está cheia da sua glória!”

·      1 Samuel 2:2: “Não há santo como o Senhor, porque não há outro além de ti; não há rocha como o nosso Deus.”

·      Apocalipse 4:8: “Santo, santo, santo é o Senhor Deus Todo-Poderoso, que era, e que é, e que há de vir!”

2. A Justiça de Deus

·      Deuteronômio 32:4: “A Rocha, cujas obras são perfeitas, porque todos os seus caminhos são justos. Deus é fiel e sem iniquidade; justo e reto é ele.”

·      Salmo 9:7-8: “Mas o Senhor está entronizado para sempre; estabeleceu o seu trono para a justiça; e julga o mundo com justiça; julga os povos com retidão.”

·      Isaías 30:18: “Porque o Senhor é Deus de justiça; bem-aventurados todos os que esperam nele.”

·      Salmo 89:14: “Justiça e juízo são a base do teu trono; amor e fidelidade vão adiante de ti.”

·      Romanos 2:6: “Ele retribuirá a cada um segundo as suas obras.”

3. O Amor de Deus

·      João 3:16: “Porque Deus amou o mundo de tal maneira que deu o seu Filho unigênito, para que todo aquele que nele crê não pereça, mas tenha a vida eterna.”

·      1 João 4:8: “Todo aquele que não ama não conhece a Deus, porque Deus é amor.”

·      Romanos 5:8: “Mas Deus prova o seu amor para conosco, em que Cristo morreu por nós, sendo nós ainda pecadores.”

·      Salmo 136:1: “Deem graças ao Senhor, porque ele é bom, porque a sua misericórdia dura para sempre.”

4. A Onipotência de Deus

·      Gênesis 18:14: “Existe alguma coisa difícil demais para o Senhor? No tempo determinado, voltarei a você, por volta desta época, no ano que vem, e Sara terá um filho.”

·      Jó 42:2: “Eu sei que podes fazer todas as coisas e que nenhum dos teus propósitos pode ser frustrado.”

·      Salmo 115:3: “O nosso Deus está nos céus; ele faz tudo o que lhe agrada.”

·      Jeremias 32:17: “Ah, Senhor Deus! Tu fizeste os céus e a terra com o teu grande poder e com o teu braço estendido! Nada é difícil demais para ti.”

5. Onisciência – Deus sabe tudo.

·      Salmo 147:5: “Grande é o nosso Senhor e poderoso; o seu entendimento é incomensurável.”

·      Provérbios 15:3: “Os olhos do Senhor estão em todo lugar, observando os maus e os bons.”

·      Isaías 46:9-10: “Eu sou Deus, e não há ninguém semelhante a mim; eu anuncio o fim desde o princípio.”

6. Onipresença – Deus está presente em todos os lugares e em todos os momentos.

·      Salmo 139:7-10: “Para onde me irei do teu Espírito? Ou para onde fugirei da tua presença?”

·      Jeremias 23:23-24: “Sou eu um Deus de perto”, pergunta o Senhor, “e não um Deus de longe? Pode alguém esconder-se em lugares secretos, de modo que eu não o veja?”

·      Atos 17:27-28: “Mas ele não está longe de cada um de nós, pois nele vivemos, nos movemos e existimos.”

7. Soberania – Deus governa toda a criação com autoridade e controle supremos.

·      Isaías 46:10: “O meu conselho permanecerá firme, e farei todo o meu propósito.”

·      Daniel 4:35: “Ele opera segundo a sua vontade entre o exército do céu e os moradores da terra.”

·      Romanos 8:28: “E sabemos que todas as coisas cooperam para o bem daqueles que amam a Deus.”

8. Fidelidade – Deus é totalmente confiável e fiel às Suas promessas.

·      Lamentações 3:22-23: “As misericórdias do Senhor são inesgotáveis; as suas misericórdias são inesgotáveis; renovam-se cada manhã; grande é a tua fidelidade.”

·      Deuteronômio 7:9: “Saiba, pois, que o Senhor, o seu Deus, é Deus, o Deus fiel, que guarda a aliança e a misericórdia.”

·      2 Timóteo 2:13: “Se somos infiéis, ele permanece fiel, pois de maneira nenhuma pode negar-se a si mesmo.”

9. Bondade – Deus é o padrão máximo do bem e a fonte de todas as bênçãos.

·      Salmo 34:8: “Provai e vede que o Senhor é bom; bem-aventurado o homem que nele confia.”

·      Naum 1:7: “O Senhor é bom, uma fortaleza no dia da angústia.”

·      Tiago 1:17: “Toda boa dádiva e todo dom perfeito vêm do alto, descendo do Pai das luzes.”

10. Imutabilidade – Deus é constante e imutável em Sua natureza.

·      1 Samuel 15:29: “E também a Glória de Israel não mentirá nem se arrependerá, porque não é homem, para que se arrependa.”

·      Malaquias 3:6: “Porque eu, o Senhor, não mudo.”

·      Tiago 1:17: “… em quem não há mudança nem sombra de mudança.”

·      Hebreus 6:17-18: “Portanto, querendo Deus mostrar mais claramente aos herdeiros da promessa a imutabilidade do seu propósito, confirmou-o com juramento, para que, por duas coisas imutáveis, nas quais é impossível que Deus minta, nós, os que nos refugiamos, tenhamos firme consolação, para nos apegarmos à esperança proposta.” ( NOTA: o juramento/promessa é explicado nos versículos 15-17 )

11. Misericórdia – Deus retém o castigo merecido e estende compaixão.

·      Salmo 103:8: “O Senhor é misericordioso e compassivo, lento para a ira e grande em benignidade.”

·      Efésios 2:4-5: “Mas Deus, que é rico em misericórdia, pelo grande amor com que nos amou, estando nós mortos em nossos delitos, nos deu vida juntamente com Cristo.”

·      Miquéias 7:18: “Quem é semelhante a ti, Deus que perdoas a iniquidade e esqueces a transgressão?”

12. Ira – Deus se opõe ao pecado e julgará os ímpios.

·      Romanos 1:18: “Porque do céu se revela a ira de Deus contra toda a impiedade e injustiça dos homens.”

·      Naum 1:2-3: “O SENHOR é Deus zeloso e vingador; o SENHOR exerce vingança e é feroz em ira.”

·      João 3:36: “Todo aquele que crê no Filho tem a vida eterna; mas aquele que se rebela contra o Filho não verá a vida, mas a ira de Deus permanece sobre ele.”

13. Paciência – Deus é lento para a ira e longânimo.

·      2 Pedro 3:9: “O Senhor não retarda a sua promessa, ainda que alguns a têm por tardia; pelo contrário, é longânimo para convosco.”

·      Êxodo 34:6: “O SENHOR, o SENHOR, Deus misericordioso e compassivo, lento para a ira.”

14. Sabedoria – Deus aplica perfeitamente Seu conhecimento para realizar Seus propósitos.

·      Romanos 11:33: “Ó profundidade da riqueza, tanto da sabedoria como do conhecimento de Deus!”

·      Provérbios 3:19: “O Senhor fundou a terra com sabedoria; com entendimento estabeleceu os céus.”

·      Tiago 1:5: “Se algum de vocês tem falta de sabedoria, peça-a a Deus, que a todos dá livremente, de boa vontade.”

15. Glória – A beleza, majestade e perfeição de Deus são reveladas e louvadas.

·      Isaías 42:8: “Eu sou o Senhor; este é o meu nome; a minha glória não darei a nenhum outro.”

·      Habacuque 2:14: “Porque a terra se encherá do conhecimento da glória do Senhor.” Apocalipse 21:23: “A cidade não precisa de sol nem de lua, para que nela resplandeçam, pois a glória de Deus a ilumina.”

1. The Holiness of God

·      Exodus 15: 11: “Who is like you, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like You, majestic in holiness, awesome in glorious deeds, doing wonders?”

·      Leviticus 11: 44: “For I am the Lord your God. Consecrate yourselves therefore, and be holy, for I am holy.”

·      Isaiah 6: 3: “And one called to another and said: ‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of His glory!’”

·      1 Samuel 2: 2: “There is none holy like the Lord: for there is none besides You; there is no rock like our God.”

·      Revelation 4: 8: “Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!”

2. The Justice of God

·      Deuteronomy 32: 4: “The Rock, his work is perfect, for all His ways are justice. A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and upright is He.”

·      Psalm 9: 7-8: “But the Lord sits enthroned forever; He has established His throne for justice, and He judges the world with righteousness; He judges the peoples with uprightness.”

3. The Love of God

4. The Omnipotence of God

·      Psalm 115: 3: “Our God is in the heavens; He does all that He pleases.”

5. Omniscience – God knows everything.

·      Isaiah 46: 9-10: “I am God, and there is none like Me, declaring the end from the beginning.”

6. Omnipresence – God is present everywhere at all times.

·      Psalm 139: 7-10: “Where shall I go from Your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from Your presence?”

·      Jeremiah 23: 23-24: “Am I a God at hand, declares the Lord, and not a God far away? Can a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see Him?”

·      Acts 17: 27-28: “Yet He is actually not far from each one of us, for ‘In Him we live and move and have our being.’”

7. Sovereignty – God rules over all creation with supreme authority and control.

·      Isaiah 46: 10: “My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose.”

·      Daniel 4: 35: “He does according to His will among the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth.”

·      Romans 8: 28: “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good.”

8. Faithfulness – God is completely reliable and true to His promises.

·      Lamentations 3: 22-23: “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.”

·      Deuteronomy 7: 9: “Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love.”

·      2 Timothy 2: 13: “If we are faithless, He remains faithful—for He cannot deny Himself.”

9. Goodness – God is the ultimate standard of good and the source of all blessings.

·      Psalm 34: 8: “Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him.”

·      Nahum 1: 7: “The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble.”

·      James 1: 17: “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights.”

10. Immutability – God is constant and unchanging in His nature.

·      1 Samuel 15:29: “And also the Glory of Israel will not lie or have regret, for he is not a man, that he should have regret.”

·      Malachi 3: 6: “For I the Lord do not change.”

·      James 1: 17: “… with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.”

·      Hebrews 6:17-18: “So when God desired to show more convincingly to the heirs of the promise the unchangeable character of his purpose, he guaranteed it with an oath, so that by two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope set before us.” (NOTE: the oath/promise is explained in verses 15-17)

11. Mercy – God withholds deserved punishment and extends compassion.

·      Psalm 103: 8: “The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.”

·      Ephesians 2: 4-5: “But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ.”

·      Micah 7: 18: “Who is a God like you, pardoning iniquity and passing over transgression?”

12. Wrath – God opposes sin and will judge the wicked.

·      Romans 1: 18: “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men.”

·      Nahum 1: 2-3: “The LORD is a jealous and avenging God; the LORD takes vengeance and is fierce in wrath.”

·      John 3: 36: “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.”

13. Patience – God is slow to anger and shows long-suffering.

·      2 Peter 3: 9: “The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you.”

·      Exodus 34: 6: “The LORD, the LORD, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger.”

·      Romans 2: 4: “Or do you presume on the riches of His kindness and forbearance and patience?”

14. Wisdom – God perfectly applies His knowledge to accomplish His purposes.

·      Romans 11: 33: “Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God!”

·      Proverbs 3: 19: “The LORD by wisdom founded the earth; by understanding He established the heavens.”

·      James 1: 5: “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach.”

15. Glory – God’s beauty, majesty, and perfection are revealed and praised.

·      Isaiah 42: 8: “I am the LORD; that is my name; my glory I give to no other.”

·      Habakkuk 2: 14: “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD.”

·      Revelation 21: 23: “The city has no need of sun or moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light.”
