1. Deus como o Criador do Universo
· Gênesis 1:1: “No princípio, Deus criou os céus e a terra.”
· Gênesis 1:31: “E viu Deus tudo quanto fizera, e eis que era muito bom. E foi a tarde e a manhã, o dia sexto.”
· Salmo 19:1: “Os céus declaram a glória de Deus, e o firmamento anuncia a obra das suas mãos.”
· Salmo 104:24: “Ó Senhor, quão variadas são as tuas obras! Com sabedoria as fizeste todas; a terra está cheia das tuas criaturas.”
· Isaías 40:26: “Levantai os olhos ao alto e vede: quem criou estes seres? Aquele que faz sair o seu exército segundo o número, chamando-os a todos pelos nomes; pela grandeza do seu poder e porque é forte em poder, não falta nenhum.”
· Colossenses 1:16-17: “Pois nele foram criadas todas as coisas nos céus e na terra, as visíveis e as invisíveis, sejam tronos, sejam dominações, sejam principados, sejam potestades. Tudo foi criado por ele e para ele. Ele é antes de todas as coisas, e nele todas as coisas subsistem.”
2. A Sabedoria de Deus na Criação
· Provérbios 3:19: “O Senhor fundou a terra com sabedoria; com entendimento estabeleceu os céus.”
· Provérbios 8:22-31: “O Senhor me criou no princípio de sua obra, no princípio de seus feitos mais antigos. Desde tempos imemoriais eu fui constituída, no princípio, antes do princípio da terra… quando ele fixou os céus, eu estava lá, quando traçou o contorno da face do abismo, quando estabeleceu as nuvens lá em cima…”
· Jeremias 10:12: “Ele fez a terra com seu poder, estabeleceu o mundo com sua sabedoria e estendeu os céus com seu entendimento.”
3. A ordem e o desígnio de Deus na criação
· Gênesis 2:2-3: “E, havendo Deus completado no sétimo dia a obra que fizera, descansou nesse dia de toda a obra que fizera. E abençoou Deus o sétimo dia e o santificou, porque nele descansou de toda a obra que fizera na criação.”
· Salmo 104:19: “A lua marca as estações; o sol conhece a sua hora de se pôr.”
· Isaías 45:18: “Porque assim diz o Senhor, que criou os céus (ele é Deus!), que formou a terra e a fez (ele a estabeleceu; ele não a criou vazia, ele a formou para ser habitada!): ‘Eu sou o Senhor, e não há outro.’”
4. As Leis da Natureza e a Ordem de Deus
· Jeremias 33:25: “Assim diz o Senhor: Se eu não tiver estabelecido a minha aliança com o dia e a noite, e com as ordens fixas dos céus e da terra, então rejeitarei a descendência de Jacó e de Davi, meu servo.”
· Jó 38:4-7: “Onde estavas tu quando eu lançava os fundamentos da terra? Dize-me, se tens entendimento… Quando as estrelas da manhã juntas cantavam e todos os filhos de Deus bradavam de alegria?”
· Jó 38:33: “Você conhece as ordenanças dos céus? Pode estabelecer o seu domínio sobre a terra?”
5. Ciência e conhecimento não se opõem à fé
· Provérbios 2:6: “Porque o Senhor dá a sabedoria; da sua boca vêm o conhecimento e o entendimento.”
· Daniel 2:21: “Ele muda os tempos e as estações; remove reis e estabelece reis; dá sabedoria aos sábios e conhecimento aos entendidos.”
· Tiago 1:5: “Se algum de vocês tem falta de sabedoria, peça-a a Deus, que a todos dá liberalmente, de boa vontade; e ela lhe será dada.”
· 1 Coríntios 1:25: “Porque a loucura de Deus é mais sábia que os homens, e a fraqueza de Deus é mais forte que os homens.”
6. A Glória de Deus Revelada na Criação
· Salmo 19:1-4: “Os céus declaram a glória de Deus, e o firmamento anuncia a obra das suas mãos. Um dia faz discurso a outro dia, e uma noite revela conhecimento a outra noite. Não há discurso, nem há palavras cuja voz não seja ouvida. Por toda a terra se faz ouvir a sua voz, e as suas palavras, até aos confins do mundo.”
· Romanos 1:20: “Pois os seus atributos invisíveis, desde a criação do mundo, tanto o seu eterno poder como a sua divindade, têm sido vistos claramente, por meio das coisas criadas, sendo, portanto, inescusáveis.”
7. Compreensão Humana da Criação
· Salmo 111:2: “Grandes são as obras do Senhor, admiradas por todos os que nelas se deleitam.”
· 1 Timóteo 6:20-21: “Ó Timóteo, guarda o depósito que te foi confiado. Evita as conversas incoerentes e as contradições da falsamente chamada ciência, pois alguns, professando-a, se desviaram da fé.”
· Colossenses 2:8: “Tenham cuidado para que ninguém os escravize a filosofias e vãs sutilezas, segundo a tradição dos homens, segundo os rudimentos do mundo e não segundo Cristo.”
8. A criação de Deus é boa e sustentável

· Mateus 6:28-30: “E por que andais ansiosos quanto ao vestuário? Observai como crescem os lírios do campo: não trabalham nem fiam; contudo, eu vos digo que nem mesmo Salomão, em toda a sua glória, se vestiu como um deles. Mas, se Deus assim veste a erva do campo, que hoje existe e amanhã é lançada no forno, quanto mais a vós, homens de pequena fé?”
9. A Harmonia da Palavra de Deus e da Criação

1. God as the Creator of the Universe
· Genesis 1: 1: “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.”
· Genesis 1: 31: “And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.”
· Psalm 19: 1: “The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.”
· Psalm 104: 24: “O Lord, how manifold are your works! In wisdom have you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures.”
· Isaiah 40: 26: “Lift up your eyes on high and see: who created these? He who brings out their host by number, calling them all by name, by the greatness of his might, and because he is strong in power, not one is missing.”
· Colossians 1: 16-17: “For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.”
2. God’s Wisdom in Creation

8. God’s Creation is Good and Sustainable

9. The Harmony of God’s Word and Creation
