A. Unidade no Corpo de Cristo.
1. Unidade enraizada em um só corpo.
· Efésios 4:4-6: “Há um só corpo e um só Espírito, assim como a esperança para a qual vocês foram chamados é uma só. Há um só Senhor, uma só fé, um só batismo; um só Deus e Pai de todos, que é sobre todos, age por meio de todos e está em todos.”
· 1 Coríntios 12:12-13: “Pois, assim como o corpo é um e tem muitos membros, e todos os membros, embora muitos, constituem um só corpo, assim também com relação a Cristo. Pois, em um só Espírito, todos nós fomos batizados em um só corpo: judeus, quer gregos, quer escravos, quer livres, e a todos foi dado beber de um só Espírito.”
· Colossenses 3:15: “E a paz de Cristo, para a qual também fostes chamados em um só corpo, domine em vossos corações. E sede agradecidos.”
2. Amor e Humildade na Unidade
· João 13:34-35: “Um novo mandamento vos dou: que vos ameis uns aos outros. Assim como eu vos amei, que também vos ameis uns aos outros. Nisto conhecerão todos que sois meus discípulos: se vos amardes uns aos outros.”
· Filipenses 2:1-2: “Portanto, se há algum conforto em Cristo, alguma consolação de amor, alguma comunhão no Espírito, alguma entranhabilidade e compaixão, completai a minha alegria, pensando o mesmo, tendo o mesmo amor, sentindo a mesma coisa, vivendo em plena harmonia e sentindo o mesmo.”
· Romanos 12:16: “Viva em harmonia uns com os outros. Não seja arrogante, mas compadeça-se dos humildes. Nunca seja sábio aos seus próprios olhos.”
· 1 Pedro 3:8: “Finalmente, sede todos de mesma mentalidade, compassivos, fraternais, misericordiosos e humildes.”
3. A Unidade como Reflexo da Oração de Cristo
· João 17:20-23: “Não rogo somente por estes, mas também por aqueles que vierem a crer em mim, por meio da sua palavra, para que todos sejam um, como tu, Pai, o és em mim, e eu em ti, para que também eles sejam um em nós, para que o mundo creia que tu me enviaste. Eu lhes dei a glória que me deste, para que sejam um, assim como nós somos um: eu neles e tu em mim, para que sejam aperfeiçoados na unidade, para que o mundo conheça que tu me enviaste e os amaste como me amaste.”
4. Unidade por meio de dons espirituais
· Efésios 4:11-13: “E ele deu apóstolos, profetas, evangelistas, pastores e mestres, com o fim de preparar os santos para a obra do ministério, para edificação do corpo de Cristo, até que todos cheguemos à unidade da fé e do conhecimento do Filho de Deus, à perfeita varonilidade, à medida da estatura completa de Cristo.”
· 1 Coríntios 12:25-26: “Para que não haja divisão no corpo, mas que os membros tenham igual cuidado uns pelos outros. Se um membro sofre, todos os membros sofrem com ele; se um membro é honrado, todos os membros com ele se alegram.”
5. Unidade pela Paz
· Romanos 14:19: “Portanto, busquemos as coisas que servem para a paz e para a edificação mútua.”
· Efésios 4: 2-3: “Com toda a humildade e mansidão, com paciência, suportando-vos uns aos outros em amor, esforçando-vos por conservar a unidade do Espírito pelo vínculo da paz.”
6. Unidade na Diversidade
· Gálatas 3:28: “Não há judeu nem grego; não há escravo nem livre; não há homem nem mulher; porque todos vós sois um em Cristo Jesus.”
· Colossenses 3:11: “Aqui não há grego nem judeu, circunciso nem incircunciso, bárbaro, cita, escravo, livre; mas Cristo é tudo em todos.”
7. A unidade demonstra o Evangelho
· Atos 4:32: “E era um o coração e a alma da multidão dos que creram; e ninguém dizia que coisa alguma do que possuía era sua própria, mas tudo lhes era comum.”
· 1 Coríntios 1:10: “Rogo-vos, irmãos, pelo nome de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo, que estejais todos concordes e que não haja entre vós dissensões; antes, sejais unidos num mesmo pensamento e num mesmo parecer.”

B. Princípios bíblicos para lidar com a injustiça.
1. O caráter de justiça de Deus
· Deuteronômio 32:4: “A Rocha, cujas obras são perfeitas, porque todos os seus caminhos são justos. Deus de fidelidade e sem iniquidade; justo e reto é ele.”
· Salmo 89:14: “Justiça e juízo são a base do teu trono; amor e fidelidade vão adiante de ti.”
· Isaías 61:8: “Porque eu, o Senhor, amo a justiça; odeio o roubo e a injustiça; fielmente lhes darei a sua recompensa, e farei com eles uma aliança eterna.”
2. Os mandamentos de Deus para a justiça
· Miquéias 6:8: “Ele te declarou, ó homem, o que é bom; e o que é que o Senhor pede de ti, senão que pratiques a justiça, e ames a beneficência, e andes humildemente com o teu Deus?”
· Zacarias 7:9-10: “Assim diz o Senhor dos Exércitos: Julgai com justiça, mostrai bondade e misericórdia uns para com os outros, não oprimais a viúva, o órfão, o estrangeiro, nem o pobre; e nenhum de vós planeje o mal contra o outro no seu coração.”
· Isaías 1:17: “Aprendam a fazer o bem, busquem a justiça, corrijam a opressão, façam justiça ao órfão, defendam a causa da viúva.”
3. Condenação da Opressão e da Injustiça
· Amós 5:24: “Mas corra o juízo como as águas, e a justiça como um ribeiro perene.”
· Provérbios 21:3: “Fazer justiça e juízo é mais aceitável ao Senhor do que oferecer sacrifícios.”
· Eclesiastes 4:1: “Vi novamente todas as opressões que se fazem debaixo do sol. E eis as lágrimas dos oprimidos, e não havia quem os consolasse! Do lado dos seus opressores havia poder, e não havia quem os consolasse.”
· Isaías 10:1-2: “Ai dos que decretam decretos iníquos, e dos escrivães que escrevem opressão, para desviarem da justiça os necessitados, e para roubarem o direito dos pobres do meu povo, para que as viúvas sejam o seu despojo, e para que façam dos órfãos a sua presa!”
4. A defesa de Deus pelos vulneráveis
· Salmo 82:3-4: “Fazei justiça ao fraco e ao órfão; defendei os direitos dos aflitos e dos necessitados. Livrai o fraco e o necessitado; livrai-os das mãos dos ímpios.”
· Provérbios 31:8-9: “Abre a boca em favor do mudo e defende os direitos de todos os necessitados. Abre a boca, julga com justiça e defende os direitos dos pobres e dos necessitados.”
· Jeremias 22:3: “Assim diz o Senhor: Praticai a justiça e a retidão, e livrai das mãos do opressor o oprimido. Não façais mal nem violência ao estrangeiro, ao órfão e à viúva, nem derrameis sangue inocente neste lugar.”
5. O Exemplo de Justiça de Jesus
· Lucas 4:18-19: “O Espírito do Senhor está sobre mim, porque ele me ungiu para pregar boas novas aos pobres. Enviou-me para proclamar liberdade aos cativos e recuperação da vista aos cegos, para pôr em liberdade os oprimidos e proclamar o ano aceitável do Senhor.”
· Mateus 23:23: “Ai de vós, escribas e fariseus, hipócritas! Pois dizimais a hortelã, o endro e o cominho, e desprezais os preceitos mais importantes da lei: a justiça, a misericórdia e a fidelidade. Devíeis fazer estas coisas, sem omitir aquelas.”
· João 7:24: “Não julgueis segundo a aparência, mas julgai segundo a reta justiça.”
6. O papel dos crentes no enfrentamento da injustiça
· Romanos 12:19-21: “Amados, nunca se vinguem, mas deixem a ira de Deus, pois está escrito: ‘A vingança é minha; eu retribuirei’, diz o Senhor. Ao contrário, ‘se o seu inimigo tiver fome, dê-lhe de comer; se tiver sede, dê-lhe de beber; pois, fazendo isso, você amontoará brasas vivas sobre a sua cabeça’. Não se deixem vencer pelo mal, mas vençam o mal com o bem.”
· Tiago 1:27: “A religião pura e imaculada para com Deus, o Pai, é esta: Visitar os órfãos e as viúvas nas suas tribulações e guardar-se da corrupção do mundo.”
· Gálatas 6:9-10: “E não nos cansemos de fazer o bem, pois a seu tempo colheremos, se não desanimarmos. Então, enquanto temos oportunidade, façamos o bem a todos, mas principalmente aos domésticos da fé.”
· 2 Coríntios 5:20: “Portanto, somos embaixadores de Cristo, sendo Deus quem faz o seu apelo por nosso intermédio. Rogamo-vos, pois, da parte de Cristo que vos reconcilieis com Deus.”
Social Issues
A. Unity in the Body of Christ.
1. Unity Rooted in One Body.
· Ephesians 4: 4-6: “There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call—one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.”
· 1 Corinthians 12: 12-13: “For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit.”
· Colossians 3: 15: “And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.”
2. Love and Humility in Unity
· John 13: 34-35: “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
· Philippians 2: 1-2: “So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind.”
