Meu Deus, o Criador, é um Deus de Amor.

• Lamentações 3:31-33 – “Pois ninguém é rejeitado pelo Senhor para sempre. Embora Ele traga tristeza, Ele mostrará compaixão, tão grande é o Seu amor infalível. Pois Ele não traz aflição ou tristeza de bom grado a ninguém.”
• Salmo 103:8-10 – “O Senhor é compassivo e gracioso, lento para a ira, abundante em amor. Ele não acusará perpetuamente, nem guardará Sua ira para sempre; Ele não nos trata como nossos pecados merecem nem nos retribui de acordo com nossas iniquidades.”
• Miquéias 7:18 – “Quem é um Deus como Tu, que perdoas o pecado e perdoas a transgressão do remanescente de Sua herança? Tu não permaneces irado para sempre, mas te deleitas em mostrar misericórdia.” (um Deus misericordioso – por definição – não torturaria eternamente. Esses são conceitos opostos.)
• Atos 17:30 – “No passado, Deus ignorou essa ignorância, mas agora ordena que todas as pessoas em todos os lugares se arrependam.”
• Romanos 5:8 – “Mas Deus demonstra seu próprio amor por nós em que, quando ainda éramos pecadores, Cristo morreu por nós.”
• Romanos 10:13 – “Porque todo aquele que invocar o nome do Senhor será salvo.”
• 1 Coríntios 15:22 – “Porque assim como em Adão todos morrem, assim também em Cristo todos serão vivificados.”
• 1 João 4:8 – “Quem não ama não conhece a Deus, porque Deus é amor.”
• 1 João 4:16 – “E assim conhecemos e confiamos no amor que Deus tem por nós. Deus é amor. Quem vive no amor vive em Deus, e Deus neles.”

Deus quer que todos cheguem ao arrependimento antes do Julgamento e da Morte

• 2 Pedro 3:9 – “O Senhor não retarda a sua promessa, como alguns a julgam tardia. Pelo contrário, ele é longânimo para convosco, não querendo que ninguém PEREÇA, mas que todos cheguem ao arrependimento.”
• Ezequiel 18:23 – “Tenho eu algum prazer na morte dos ímpios? diz o Soberano Senhor. Em vez disso, não me agrado quando eles se convertem dos seus caminhos e vivem?”
• Ezequiel 18:32 – “Porque não tenho prazer na morte de ninguém, diz o Soberano Senhor. Arrependam-se e vivam!”
• Ezequiel 33:11 – “Diga a eles: ‘Tão certo como eu vivo, declara o Soberano Senhor, não tenho prazer na morte do ímpio, mas sim em que ele se converta dos seus caminhos e viva. Convertam-se! Convertam-se dos seus maus caminhos! Por que vocês morrerão, povo de Israel?’”
• Isaías 45:22 – “Voltem-se para mim e sejam salvos, todos os confins da terra; porque eu sou Deus, e não há outro.”
• Mateus 18:12-14 – “O que vocês acham? Se um homem possui cem ovelhas, e uma delas se desgarra, não deixará ele as noventa e nove nos montes e irá procurar aquela que se desgarrou? E se ele a encontrar, em verdade vos digo que ele é mais feliz por aquela ovelha do que pelas noventa e nove que não se desgarraram. Da mesma forma, vosso Pai que está nos céus não quer que nenhum destes pequeninos PEREÇA.”
• João 3:17 – “Porque Deus enviou o seu Filho ao mundo, não para condenar o mundo, mas para que o mundo fosse salvo por ele.”
• João 5:40 – “Contudo, vocês se recusam a vir a mim para terem vida.”
• 1 Timóteo 2:3-4 – “Isto é bom e agradável a Deus, nosso Salvador, que quer que todos os homens sejam salvos e cheguem ao conhecimento da verdade.”
• 1 Timóteo 4:10 – “Pois colocamos a nossa esperança no Deus vivo, que é o Salvador de todos os homens, especialmente dos que creem.”

A alma pode morrer

• Ezequiel 18:4 – “Pois todos são meus, tanto os pais como os filhos, ambos igualmente me pertencem. A alma que pecar, essa morrerá.”
• Ezequiel 18:20 – “A alma que pecar morrerá…”
• Tiago 5:20 – “Saiba que quem trouxer de volta um pecador do seu caminho errante salvará a sua alma da MORTE e cobrirá uma multidão de pecados.”
• Atos 3:23 – “E acontecerá que toda alma que não ouvir esse profeta será totalmente destruída dentre o povo.”

JESUS ​​diz que a ‘alma’ pode morrer e que os pecadores MORRERAM.

• Mateus 10:28 – “Não tenham medo dos que matam o corpo, mas não podem matar a alma. Em vez disso, tenham medo daquele que pode DESTRUIR tanto a alma quanto o corpo NO INFERNO.”
• João 3:16 – “Porque Deus amou o mundo de tal maneira que deu o seu Filho unigênito, para que todo aquele que nele crê não pereça, mas tenha a vida eterna.”
• (na verdade, a alma de Jesus MORREU quando Ele foi sacrificado por nós: Isaías 53:12 – “Portanto, eu lhe darei uma parte entre os grandes, e ele dividirá os despojos com os poderosos, porque ele derramou sua alma até a morte, e foi contado com os transgressores.”)
• Lucas 13:3 – “Eu lhes digo, não! Mas, se vocês não se arrependerem, todos vocês também perecerão.”
• Lucas 13:5 – “Eu lhes digo, não! Mas, se vocês não se arrependerem, todos vocês também perecerão.”
• Somente os cristãos “nunca perecerão”: João 10:28 – “Eu lhes dou a vida eterna, e elas nunca perecerão; ninguém as arrebatará da minha mão.”.
• A palha não “queima para sempre”: Jesus diz, Mateus 3:12 – “Ele tem a pá na mão, e limpará a sua eira, juntando o seu trigo no celeiro e queimando a palha em fogo inextinguível.”

O salário do pecado é a MORTE, não ‘tortura eterna’

• Romanos 6:23 – “Porque o salário do pecado é a morte, mas o dom gratuito de Deus é a vida eterna em Cristo Jesus, nosso Senhor.”
• 1 João 5:12 – “Quem tem o Filho tem a vida; quem não tem o Filho de Deus não tem a vida.”
• Só Jesus é o caminho para a vida. Mateus 7:13-14 – “Entrai pela porta estreita, porque larga é a porta, e espaçoso o caminho que conduz à perdição, e muitos entram por ela. Mas estreita é a porta, e apertado o caminho que conduz à vida, e poucos a encontram.”
• Salmo 92:7 – “Embora os ímpios brotem como a erva, e todos os malfeitores floresçam, eles serão DESTRUÍDOS PARA SEMPRE.”

Deus restaurará o universo ao ponto anterior ao pecado

• Atos 3:21 – “É necessário que o céu o receba, até que chegue o tempo em que Deus restaure todas as coisas.”
• Hebreus 12:29 – “Nosso Deus é um fogo consumidor.”
• 2 Pedro 3:13 – “Mas, segundo a sua promessa, aguardamos novos céus e nova terra, onde habita a justiça.”
• Romanos 8:19-21 – “Pois a criação aguarda com grande expectativa a revelação dos filhos de Deus. Pois a criação foi submetida à frustração, não por sua própria escolha, mas pela vontade daquela que a sujeitou, na esperança de que a própria criação será libertada da escravidão da decadência e introduzida na liberdade e glória dos filhos de Deus.”
• Apocalipse 21:5 – “Eis que faço novas todas as coisas.”

O pecado tem como consequência final a morte permanente

• 2 Tessalonicenses 1:9 – “Eles serão punidos com DESTRUIÇÃO eterna e excluídos da presença do Senhor e da glória do seu poder.”
• Hebreus 10:27 – “Mas apenas uma expectativa experimental de julgamento e de fogo intenso que consumirá os inimigos de Deus.” (consumir, isto é, destruir)
• Provérbios 10:25 – “Quando a tempestade passa, os ímpios se vão, mas os justos permanecem firmes para sempre.”
• Provérbios 21:16 – “O homem que se desvia do caminho do entendimento descansará na assembleia dos mortos.”
• Tiago 5:20 – “Lembrem-se disto: quem converte um pecador do erro do seu caminho o salvará da morte e cobrirá uma multidão de pecados.”

Mas somente aqueles em Cristo VIVERÃO

• 1 Coríntios 15:22 – “Porque assim como em Adão todos morrem, assim também em Cristo todos serão vivificados.”

Sodoma e Gomorra tiveram uma destruição FINAL ‘eterna’.

• Judas 1:7 – “Da mesma forma, Sodoma e Gomorra e as cidades vizinhas se entregaram à imoralidade sexual e à perversão. Elas servem de exemplo para aqueles que sofrem a proteção do fogo eterno.” As cidades de Sodoma e Gomorra não estão mais queimando, mas sua aniquilação foi completa para a eternidade.
• Sodoma foi destruída, e as pessoas não foram torturadas para sempre: Lucas 17:28-29 – “Aconteceu o mesmo nos dias de Ló: as pessoas estavam comendo e bebendo, comprando e vendendo, plantando e construindo. Mas no dia em que Ló saiu de Sodoma, choveu fogo e queima do céu e os destruiu a todos.”

A destruição permanente de Sodoma e Gomorra é um protótipo para o Julgamento Final de Deus

• 2 Pedro 2:6 – “Se ele condenou as cidades de Sodoma e Gomorra, queimando-as até as cinzas, e fez delas um exemplo do que vai acontecer aos ímpios,”

Todos os pecadores se curvarão diante de Deus (antes de sua vingança final, mostrando que a justiça é universalmente tratada e Deus é glorificado)

• Filipenses 2:10-11 – “Todo joelho se dobrará… e toda língua confessará que Jesus Cristo é Senhor.”
• Salmo 22:29 – “Todos os que descem ao PÓ se ajoelharão diante dele — aqueles que não podem manter-se vivos.” (as pessoas no fogo não podem “manter-se vivas”)
• Romanos 14:10-11 – “Porque todos compareceremos perante o tribunal de Deus. Está escrito: ‘Tão certo como eu vivo, diz o Senhor, todo joelho se dobrará diante de mim; toda língua considerará a Deus.’”

O inferno é destruição TOTAL com ‘nada sobrando’

• Salmo 37:20 – “Mas os ímpios perecerão: embora os inimigos do Senhor sejam como as flores do campo, eles serão consumidos, eles irão para o ar.”
• Malaquias 4:1-3 – “Certamente o dia está chegando; ele queimará como uma fornalha. Todos os arrogantes e todos os malfeitores serão restolho, e o dia que está chegando os incendiará, diz o Senhor Todo-Poderoso. Não restará uma raiz ou um ramo para eles.”
• Obadias 1:16 – “Eles serão como se nunca existissem.” —> destruição total, como se nunca existisse.

Todos os pecadores serão procurados e destruídos

• Mateus 13:41-43 – “O Filho do Homem enviará os seus anjos, e eles arrancarão do seu reino tudo o que causa pecado e todos os que praticam o mal.”
• Mateus 25:46 – “Então eles irão para o castigo eterno, mas os justos para a vida eterna.” Pecadores impenitentes não terão “vida eternal” em um inferno eterna.

Deus destruirá a morte PARA SEMPRE

• Isaías 25:8 – “Ele tragará a morte para sempre. O Soberano Senhor enxugará as lágrimas de todos os rostos.”
• Isaías 65:17 – “Eis que criarei novos céus e uma nova terra. As coisas passadas não serão lembradas, nem virão à mente.”
• 1 Coríntios 15:24-26 – “Então virá o fim, quando ele entregar o reino a Deus Pai, depois de ter destruído todo domínio, autoridade e poder. Pois ele deve reinar até que tenha posto todos os seus inimigos debaixo de seus pés. O último inimigo a ser destruído é a morte.”

Somente o corpo ressuscitado pode viver para sempre

• 1 Coríntios 15:50 – “Carne e sangue não podem herdar o reino de Deus, nem o perecível herda o imperecível.” (Esta é outra maneira de dizer que os pecadores não viverão para sempre em tortura)

A segunda morte destruirá tudo

• Apocalipse 2:11 – “Quem tem ouvidos, ouça o que o Espírito diz às igrejas. O vencedor de modo algum sofrerá dano algum da segunda morte.”
• Apocalipse 20:6 – “Bem-aventurado e santo é aquele que tem parte na primeira ressurreição! Sobre estes a segunda morte não tem poder; mas serão sacerdotes de Deus e de Cristo, e reinarão com ele mil anos.”
• Apocalipse 20:14-15 – “Então a morte e o Hades foram lançados no lago de fogo. O lago de fogo é a segunda morte.”

Não pode haver tormento eterno no universo porque a Bíblia diz isto:

• Apocalipse 21:4 – “Ele enxugará dos seus olhos toda lágrima. E não haverá mais morte, nem pranto, nem clamor, nem dor, porque já a primeira ordem das coisas passou.”
• Apocalipse 21:8 – “Mas, quanto aos covardes, e aos incrédulos, e aos depravados, e aos assassinos, e aos impuros, e aos feiticeiros, e aos idólatras, e a todos os mentirosos, estes serão lançados no lago de fogo que arde com enxofre. Esta é a segunda morte.”
• Eu pergunto: nós cremos em Jesus? Jesus diz que a morte pelo pecado é permanente: João 3:16.

Eternal destruction

The Creator, is a God of Love.

• Lamentations 3:31-33 – “For the Lord will not cast off forever, but, though he cause grief, he will have compassion according to the abundance of his steadfast love; for he does not afflict from his heart or grieve the children of men.”
• Psalm 103:8-10 – “The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. He will not always chide, nor will he keep his anger forever. He does not deal with us according to our sins, nor repay us according to our iniquities.”
• Micah 7:18 – “Who is a God like You, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of His inheritance? You do not remain angry forever, but delights in showing mercy.” (A merciful God – by definition – would not torture eternally. These are opposite concepts.)
• Acts 17:30 – “The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent.”
• Romans 5:8 – “But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
• Romans 10:13 – “For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
• 1 Corinthians 15:22 – “For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.”
• 1 John 4:8 – “Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.”
• 1 John 4:16 – “So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.”

God wants everyone to come to repentance before Judgment and Death

• 2 Peter 3:9 – “The Lord is not slow about his promise, as some understand slowness, but is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish but everyone to come to repentance.”
• Ezekiel 18:23 – “Do I have any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign LORD. Rather, do I not delight when they turn from their ways and live?”
• Ezekiel 18:32 – “For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign Lord. Repent and live!”
• Ezekiel 33:11 – “Say to them, ‘As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live. Turn! Turn from your evil ways! Why will you die, people of Israel?’”
• Isaiah 45:22 – “Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other.”
• Matthew 18:12-14 – “What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go to look for the one that went astray? And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he is happier about that sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not go astray. In the same way, your Father in heaven is not willing that one of these little ones should PERISH.”
• John 3:17 – “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved.”
• John 5:40 – “Yet you refuse to come to me that you may have life.”
• 1 Timothy 2:3-4 – “This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
• 1 Timothy 4:10 – “For we have set our hope on the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those who believe.”

The soul can die

• Ezekiel 18:4 – “For all are mine, both fathers and children; both alike are mine. The soul that sins, it shall die.”
• Ezekiel 18:20 – “The soul that sins shall die…”
• James 5:20 – “But know this, that whoever brings back a sinner from his wandering way will save his soul from DEATH and will hide a multitude of sins.”
• Acts 3:23 – “And it shall come to pass, that every soul that will not hear that prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.”

JESUS ​​says that the ‘soul’ can die and that sinners DIED.

• Matthew 10:28 – “Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Instead, be afraid of the one who can DESTROY both soul and body IN HELL.”
• John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
• (In fact, Jesus’ soul DIED when He was sacrificed for us: Isaiah 53:12 – “Therefore I will give Him a portion among the great, and He will divide the spoils with the strong, because He poured out His soul unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors.”)
• Luke 13:3 – “I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you will all also perish.”
• Luke 13:5 – “I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you will all also perish.”
• Only Christians will “never perish”: John 10:28 – “I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one shall snatch them out of my hand.”
• The chaff does not “burn forever”: Jesus says, Matthew 3:12 – “His winnowing fork is in His hand, and He will clear His threshing floor, gathering His wheat into the barn, and burning up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”

The wages of sin is DEATH, not ‘eternal torture’

• Romans 6:23 – “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
• 1 John 5:12 – “He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.”
• Only Jesus is the way to life. Matthew 7:13-14 – “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and difficult is the way that leads to life, and only a few find it.”
• Psalm 92:7 – “Though the wicked spring up like grass, and all evildoers flourish, they will be DESTROYED FOREVER.”

God will restore the universe to its pre-sin state

• Acts 3:21 – “He must be received into heaven until the time comes for God to restore all things.”
• Hebrews 12:29 – “Our God is a consuming fire.”
• 2 Peter 3:13 – “But according to his promise we are looking for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.”
• Romans 8:19-21 – “For the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the children of God. For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.”
• Revelation 21:5 – “Behold, I make all things new.”

Sin has as its final consequence permanent death

• 2 Thessalonians 1:9 – “They will be punished with everlasting DESTRUCTION and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his power.”
• Hebrews 10:27 – “But only an experimental expectation of judgment and of fierce fire which will consume the enemies of God.” (consume, that is, destroy)
• Proverbs 10:25 – “When the storm passes, the wicked are gone, but the righteous stand firm forever.”
• Proverbs 21:16 – “A man who strays from the way of understanding will rest in the assembly of the dead.”
• James 5:20 – “Remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save him from death and will hide a multitude of sins.”

But only those in Christ will LIVE

• 1 Corinthians 15:22 – “For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all will be made alive.”

Sodom and Gomorrah had an ‘eternal’ FINAL destruction.

• Jude 1:7 – “In the same way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities gave themselves over to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example to those who are being protected from eternal fire.” The cities of Sodom and Gomorrah are no longer burning, but their annihilation has been completed for eternity.
• Sodom was destroyed, and the people were not tortured forever: Luke 17:28-29 – “It was the same in the days of Lot: people were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. But on the day that Lot went out of Sodom, it rained fire and burning from heaven and destroyed them all.”

The permanent destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah is a prototype for God’s Final Judgment

• 2 Peter 2:6 – “If he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what will happen to the ungodly,”

All sinners will bow before God (before his final vengeance, showing that justice is universally served and God is glorified)

• Philippians 2:10-11 – “Every knee will bow…and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.”
• Psalm 22:29 – “All who go down to the DUST will bow before him—those who cannot stay alive.” (people in the fire cannot “stay alive”)
• Romans 14:10-11 – “For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God. It is written: ‘As I live, says the Lord, every knee will bow to me; every tongue will confess to God.’”

Hell is TOTAL destruction with ‘nothing left’

• Psalm 37:20 – “But the wicked shall perish: though the enemies of the Lord be as the flowers of the field, they shall be consumed, they shall go up into the air.”
• Malachi 4:1-3 – “Surely the day is coming; it will burn like a furnace. All the arrogant and all the evildoers will be stubble, and the day that is coming will set them on fire, says the Lord Almighty. Not a root or a branch will be left of them.”
• Obadiah 1:16 – “They will be as though they never existed.” —> total destruction, as though they never existed.

All sinners will be sought out and destroyed

• Matthew 13:41-43 – “The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil.”
• Matthew 25:46 – “Then they will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into everlasting life.” Unrepentant sinners will not have “everlasting life” in an eternal hell.

God will destroy death FOREVER

• Isaiah 25:8 – “He will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears from all faces.”
• Isaiah 65:17 – “Behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered or come to mind.”
• 1 Corinthians 15:24-26 – “Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all rule, authority and power. For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. The last enemy that will be destroyed is death.”

Only the resurrected body can live forever

• 1 Corinthians 15:50 – “Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.” (This is another way of saying that sinners will not live forever in torture.)

The second death will destroy everything

• Revelation 2:11 – “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes will not be hurt by the second death.”
• Revelation 20:6 – “Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection! Over such the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with him a thousand years.”
• Revelation 20:14-15 – “Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death.”

There cannot be eternal torment in the universe because the Bible says this:

• Revelation 21:4 – “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. And there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the former things have passed away.”
• Revelation 21:8 – “But the cowardly, and unbelieving, and the vile, and murderers, and sexually immoral, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall be cast into the lake of fire burning with brimstone: this is the second death.”
